Esta píldora de aprendizaje y producción de la Escuela IDYS en colaboración con el Colectivo PICO en residencia se conformó en dos pasos. Por una parte, un espacio de diseño colaborativo entre PICO y TXP para una grada en la cubierta del IDYS. Y, por otra parte, seis jornadas de autoconstrucción mediante las que intervenir el espacio.

La fase de autoconstrucción se resolvió como un espacio de formación interna entre los miembros de PICO, TXP e IDYS junto con diferentes agentes cercanos a los equipos. Durante las jornadas, se formalizó un modelo -entre el diseño colaborativo y la construcción colectiva – en el que las capacidades de cada una de las involucradas fueron resolviendo eficazmente las complejidades técnicas del dispositivo. Habitar la azotea fue un desafío constructivo, pero también legal. En este caso, consiste en establecer un programa que genera una apertura hacia el exterior en la cubierta de la nave donde se sitúa el IDYS. En este lugar se plantea un dispositivo que a modo de gradería que abre un nuevo espacio de graderío que articula un jardín comunitario y un espacio estancial en el que eventualmente se desarrollan actividades.

This learning and production pill from the IDYS School in collaboration with the PICO Collective in residence was formed in two steps. On the one hand, a collaborative design space between PICO and TXP for a grandstand on the cover of IDYS. And, on the other hand, six days of self-construction through which to intervene in space.

The self-construction phase was resolved as an internal training space between the members of PICO, TXP and IDYS together with different agents close to the teams. During the conference, a model was formalized -between collaborative design and collective construction- in which the capacities of each one of those involved were effectively solving the technical complexities of the device. Living on the rooftop was a constructive but also a legal challenge. In this case, it consists of establishing a program that generates an opening towards the outside in the roof of the nave where the IDYS is located. In this place, a system is proposed as a grandstand that opens a new grandstand space that articulates a community garden and a space where activities can be developed.
